DigiSprint
The Big Issue

In today’s interconnected world, the digital gap poses a formidable barrier to equitable access to technology and digital skills, perpetuating inequalities and hindering socio-economic development worldwide. While advancements in technology offer unprecedented opportunities for growth and innovation, millions of children and youths are left behind due to limited access to resources, education, and opportunities.

In Nigeria, the gender gap manifests as a significant hurdle, exacerbating existing socio-economic inequalities and hindering the progress of children in the digital world. Despite the country’s potential as a hub for technological innovation and entrepreneurship, many children, especially girls and youths, lack access to quality digital education, technological skills and opportunities to thrive in today’s digital world. As a result, perpetuates a cycle of poverty and exclusion.
